Journey Through the Bible

This year, we will cover the gospel account of John and the Acts of the Apostles. New travelers on the Journey are always welcome. Come to any class session to try it out and see if it's right for you. The Monday class begins with a time of worship and song and there is a break for refreshments. The Thursday class is faster paced and ends at 8:30. Both classes study the same lesson. Books are available for review in the church office.

Native American Spirituality

In Giving Our Hearts Away, Native American Survival the Rev. Dr. Thom White Wolf Fassett
writes, “ …as we immerse ourselves in the history of the United States and the role of the Christian Church in the societies of Native Americans we will be able to emerge with a new understanding of our own identity as people of faith.”

A six week study will be offered on Sunday mornings at 9:30am to look for the differences and similarities of our Christian faith and some Native American faiths. Native American/Christian prayer and sacred songs will be explored. The group will learn how early Christians immigrants and the churches reacted to the People who were already on this beautiful land. The class will look at ways to reach out in Christian love to help
